FAQs

Where are you based?

I’m based on the border of Warwickshire & The Cotswolds, but I love to travel, and hold a Full Uk passport & driving licence, and have my own car! There's no limit! Travel costs are included within a 50-mile radius, for weddings further afield additional travel costs will be included into your bespoke quote.

What do you shoot with?

I use several full frame Sony mirrorless cameras, previously I have shot with many other camera brands, but I have found Sony works best for me! Photography is very much an art, and your camera is just your tool! I always come with two cameras and a variety of lenses. I love to shoot in natural light, but I do bring flash in case it's needed.  I always shoot on back up memory cards and with spare batteries!

Do you offer a second shooter?

Yes! I work with an amazing network of photographers and can offer to add a second shooter onto your package. An additional professional photographer can help to catch those extras, grooms preparations, extra angles at the ceremony, and more coverage of the reception.

When do we have photos on the day?

One of the main reasons for meeting with you early is to discuss your plan for the day and when will be a good time for portraits, and group photos etc! I specialise in soft golden hour photos so will always help to suggest good times dependent on the time of year!

Why have an engagement shoot?

It is a great way for you to get relaxed in front of the camera, and build a relationship with your photographer prior to your wedding day, as well as capturing some lovely memories. I suggest picking a location, or a walk around your local area that is special to you, where I help to encourage relaxed photos that reflect your relationship, and your pets are always welcome too! You'll receive the edited photos in an online gallery to use as you wish!

How do we receive our photos?

Within 48 hour hours of your wedding, I will send over a small preview (around 10 photos) for you to see and share straight away! I will then deliver your full gallery within 6 weeks! All of your photos will be uploaded to a password protected online gallery, where you can view and share your photos with family & friends, this will be active for 6 months after the wedding. You will then also receive a bespoke USB in a presentation box for you to treasure.

Lifestyle & Portrait shoots will receive their images digitally in an online gallery, but you can add a USB onto your shoot at an additional cost.

Can we print our own photos?

Yes! You will be able to share, save and print your photos as much as you like. If you would like to create an album together afterwards I offer bespoke albums & prints as an additional option.

When do we need to book?

For wedding bookings around 6-18 months. I take bookings for last minute weddings, but I can't guarantee my availability on short notice as most people book at least a year in advance. For portraits & lifestyle usually a few weeks to months depending on the season!

Is there a deposit or booking fee?

At the time of booking, I take a 25% deposit. this ensures both parties are covered in the event of cancellation or the contract being ended. As a wedding photographer, we book our work 10+ months in advance, and should a client cancel with only a few months to the wedding date, it is unlikely that the date will be filled by a full wedding package. Therefore, the deposit covers a loss of earnings.

Are you insured?

Yes I hold personal equipment cover, as well as public liability, and professional indemnity insurance.
